The Web Flex Diamond Council

Elliott Sampley

CEO — Web Flex Diamond Council

A 1996 graduate of Lyon College, 2008 inductee into the Lyon Athletics Hall of Fame, and one of the most decorated baseball and softball minds in the country, Elliott Sampley became CEO of Web Flex Sports in 2023 — bringing over 30 years of on-field experience to the highest quality protective screens in the game.

Background

Elliott Sampley brings 32 years of baseball and softball experience to the Web Flex Diamond Council. A player, coach, and instructor at the collegiate and professional level, Elliott has spent a career dedicated to developing athletes and transforming the way the game is taught, trained, and equipped.

His coaching journey began at Northwest Missouri State University as a Graduate Assistant under legendary coach Jim Johnson, before moving to Texarkana Junior College as Pitching Coach under Matt Deggs — now the Head Baseball Coach at the University of Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns. A stop at Pratt Community College as Pitching Coach for Jeff Brewer followed, before Elliott earned his first head coaching position at Missouri Valley College at just 29 years old.

In two seasons with the Vikings, Elliott made history. He guided Missouri Valley to over 80 wins, a regular season and regional championship in 2001 with a remarkable 46-16 record, and hosted the first Super Regional in school history. That season earned him HAAC Coach of the Year, Rawlings Regional Coach of the Year, and Diamond Regional Coach of the Year honors.

During the summers of 1997–2000, Elliott served as Head Coach of the Nevada Griffons of the Jayhawk League, winning the Jayhawk League Championship and finishing as runner-up in the National Baseball Congress World Series.

Elliott then spent three successful seasons as Head Baseball Coach at Bossier Parish Community College, while simultaneously serving as Assistant Coach for the Shreveport Sports, an Independent Professional Baseball team, and co-owning MVP Baseball Academy. He also coached his son's MVP Muckdogs travel teams during this period, demonstrating his lifelong passion for player development at every level.

He closed his coaching career in remarkable fashion, serving as Head Softball Coach at Lyon College from 2014–2019, becoming the winningest coach in program history before transitioning into an administrative role — the position he held immediately prior to joining Web Flex Sports as CEO in 2023.

Why Web Flex

"I've been on fields at every level of this game for over 30 years. I've used the equipment, broken the equipment, and wished for better equipment. When I came to Web Flex, I finally found a company that builds training tools the way coaches actually need them built — tough, reliable, and built for real practice, not just a catalog photo."

Parker Bridwell

President — Web Flex Diamond Council

A former MLB pitcher, 2010 Baltimore Orioles draft pick, and inventor of the Web Flex Pitching Target, Parker Bridwell brings the discipline, competitiveness, and expertise of professional baseball directly into every product Web Flex Sports builds.

Background

Parker Bridwell's path to Web Flex Sports was paved on diamonds from West Texas to the Major Leagues. A standout multi-sport athlete at Hereford High School, Parker earned All-State honors in baseball while also excelling in football and basketball — drawing the attention of Texas Tech University, where he signed to play both baseball and football. Before he ever stepped on campus, the Baltimore Orioles selected him in the ninth round of the 2010 MLB Draft, launching one of the most compelling pitching careers of his generation.

Parker advanced steadily through the Baltimore minor league system before making his Major League debut in 2016. His breakout moment came the following year after a trade to the Los Angeles Angels, where he delivered one of the most memorable pitching performances of the 2017 season — going 10-3 with a 3.64 ERA over 121 innings. His nine consecutive road wins to begin his career tied the Brooklyn Dodgers' Clem Labine for the second-longest such streak in MLB history, behind only the legendary Whitey Ford — a record that speaks volumes about his composure, command, and competitive fire.

Across his MLB career with the Orioles and Angels, Parker finished with an 11-3 record and a 4.60 ERA, earning a reputation for durability, precision, and an elite understanding of what it takes to perform under pressure at the highest level of the game.

When his playing career ended, Parker didn't walk away from baseball — he redefined his role in it. Drawing from decades of experience facing elite competition and the demands of daily professional training, Parker co-founded Web Flex Sports and serves as the inventor of the Web Flex Pitching Target — a patented training tool designed to challenge pitchers to command the strike zone with a product that stays put, never moves, and never wastes a rep. As President of Web Flex Sports and a hands-on leader in product development, Parker's philosophy is simple: train like a pro, with equipment built for pros.

Why Web Flex

"I've been involved in baseball my entire life, so what better way to spend my career after professional baseball than helping others live out their dream. As one of the founding members of Web Flex, I felt it was my duty to make it safer for those players and give them a quality product while doing so. The Web Flex Pitching Target is my baby — I wanted to challenge pitchers to hit spots and command the strike zone, while having a product that doesn't move and doesn't take time out of your training to reset it. You only have so much time to train. We allow you to spend that time getting better."

Tanner Ring

Distribution & Product Manager — Web Flex Diamond Council

A First-Team All-Sun Belt Conference honoree, former Arkansas State Red Wolves standout, and the hands-on product mind behind Web Flex Sports' most innovative training tools, Tanner Ring ensures every Web Flex product performs exactly the way a real coach and real player needs it to.

Background

Tanner Ring grew up in Batesville, Arkansas, where his love for the game took root early and never left. A rare two-way threat, Tanner went on to become a standout Division I athlete for the Arkansas State Red Wolves, earning First-Team All-Sun Belt Conference honors in 2016 and a Preseason All-Sun Belt selection that same year. Known for his versatility, clutch hitting, and competitive spirit, Tanner made his presence felt in every role — starting in 55 games during his senior season while also making 13 mound appearances as a reliable relief pitcher. His ability to contribute both at the plate and on the mound defined him as one of the most complete players in the Sun Belt Conference.

When his playing days ended, Tanner did what great players often do — he gave the game back. He transitioned into coaching and player development, dedicating years to training baseball and softball athletes of all ages through private lessons, group sessions, and community coaching. His teaching focus has always centered on the fundamentals that separate good players from great ones: mechanics, reaction time, hand-eye coordination, skill development, and mental approach to the game. Whether working with a 10-year-old learning to field ground balls or a high school pitcher refining his delivery, Tanner's impact has been felt across countless programs and careers.

Today, as Distribution and Product Manager at Web Flex Sports, Tanner channels that same real-world expertise into product innovation. He plays a central role in the design, testing, and improvement of the Web Flex Pro Series pitching screens, rebounders, FlexGo Spider Series portable training tools, batting tees, and protective gear — ensuring every product is built tough enough for intense daily use while remaining portable, safe, and efficient for coaches and players at every level. If a Web Flex product doesn't pass Tanner's standards on the field, it doesn't ship.

His practical knowledge as a former collegiate player and experienced coach is the quality control that coaches and athletes across the country depend on — whether they know it or not.

Why Web Flex

"I truly enjoy teaching and helping baseball and softball players improve their game. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing a young player fulfill their goals and dreams playing the game they love. Web Flex's products are no-brainers in the development of young players. I use the rebounders, tees, and Spider Series nets religiously when training my players."
