Lower-Half Trainer

Focus: Activates and strengthens the lower body to develop proper weight transfer, balance, and explosive power while teaching hitters to control stride mechanics for a more efficient swing.

What’s Included:

• Back Knee Strap

• Front Foot Strap

How It Works:

• The resistance band connects the back knee strap to the front foot strap, creating tension that guides the hitter’s lower-body movements.

• As the hitter loads and strides, the band provides resistance to promote proper lower-body mechanics. It helps the back knee maintain the correct position while encouraging the hips and legs to engage efficiently.

• The band supports weight transfer from the back leg to the front leg during the stride, ensuring a smooth and balanced shift of power.

• The system also trains the hitter to control the stride foot, preventing stepping “in the bucket” (stepping away from the plate) or over-striding.

• By pulling the back knee forward, the band naturally encourages the back foot to “peel the heel,” aligning with modern lower-body mechanics. This eliminates reliance on outdated methods like “squash the bug,” which limit rotational power and hip engagement.
